The Bible is a piece of literary history. It is divide into two sections; the Old Testament and the New Testament.
The Old Testament concerns itself with Creation and the early years of the Jewish Faith. God is considered a
God of Laws and punishes the non-followers of the law (sinners). It looks forward to the coming of Christ.
The New Testament tells the story of Jesus Christ; the workings of the Apostles; the early writings to the new Christian Church; and end of time prophesy. God is considered a loving and forgiving God.
The followers of the complete Bible are called Christian. No one is forbidden from becoming a Christian. They believe Jesus Christ was Son of God and if sin repentent will have eternal life in heaven. There are many Christian Churches who interprete the Bible differently.
